1. Fulbright-Nehru Fellowship
This scholarship is available for post graduation courses. This scholarship is given by the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF).
Scholarship Eligibility - For this, the student should have a Bachelor's degree (four year course according to US) and three years work experience. This work experience should be in the same field in which the student wants to do post graduation. Apart from this, be sure to highlight about your leadership in your application for leadership, community service, communication skills, contribution to nation building and reading.
Expenses Covered - The scholarship will cover tuition fee, airfare (economy), test books and living stipend.
Scholarships are available for these courses - Scholarship is awarded for studies in the fields of Arts and Culture, Environmental Science, International Legal Studies, Public Health, Gender Studies, Urban and Regional Planning and Public Administration.

2. Tata Scholarship
Tata Scholarship is awarded for undergraduate courses. However, it is granted to Indian students only for undergraduate courses at Cornell University.
Scholarship Eligibility - It is mandatory for a student to be an Indian citizen. It is a need based scholarship and is available only for studying at Cornell University.
Expense Covered - This scholarship awarded by Tata Educational and Development Trust covers tuition fees, living expenses, food, medical and travel expenses for eight semesters. In the course longer than the eight semester, the student has to bear the further expenses.
Area of Study - This scholarship is available only to the students who are getting admission in College of Architecture and Planning, College of Engineering, The Applied Economics and Management Major in College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Hard Sciences and Social Sciences.
How to Apply - Application for this scholarship starts in October/November. In December, it is clear who has been awarded scholarship.
